I'm Baaaaack....

I was just looking at my last post, time sure does fly. Well I have proven myself right again!! LOL! I have checked some blogs through the summer but we were jam packed doing things in our house. The biggest was getting Britt ready for college. WOW that was interesting. She is now settled in PCC and adjusting to college life. She is working about 16 hours a week and carrying a full course load so she is one busy young lady. We are definitely missing her around here, she is very comical and quite loud :-)! We still have Hannah home so it isn't too bad LOL! Here is a picture of her in front of her dorm building

Of course I had to get a picture in front of her room door

Then a little bit of personality comes out...

the a lot of personality comes out....

That's my girl! We are officially tapped out after taking her, buying all the last minute items for her and paying for silly things like tuition and books! It is worth it all though. I am so happy for her. I haven't really had the whole, my baby is gone thing going. I sort of felt guilty about that, my maternal instinct is there I thought maybe it was just busted or something but I received the No Greater Joy magazine and read this article and felt better. She needs this, she is still in a protected environment but is going to be able to make decisions and take responsibility for them. Campus Church is the church she is attending, where else, but on campus. They have their sermons online. I just looked and they don't have the one from the Sunday we were there but it has to do with changes and circumstances so check back cause it was a good one. Well now that that big change has taken place I am looking forward to being able to post more and share more.

Love
Laura

My it does seem hard to believe. I start crying now when I think of the kids leaving...but maybe it is the thought of all the money it will cost.;) I know she will enjoy herself and there will be times of frustration..( I went there, I know). We will keep her in our prayers. Glad you are back posting again..you always make me smile.

Welcome back! She looks happy to be starting this new adventure in her life. I read that article from NGJ just a few days ago. It sounds like your feelings are right on... good job for letting her grow up!
I'd love to have her e-mail/mailing address!
