Time sure does fly...

I can't believe we are almost at the middle of JULY! Where oh where has my summer gone? Michelle leaves tomorrow for a 3 week trip to Tennessee, Wade and Brittany will go to NY for Wade's grandmothers 80th birthday celebration and Hannah and I will be working at vacation bible school. I also have to get caught up on my sewing projects and get ready for school. Michelle is in 10th grade and Hannah is in 8th this year. We have mapped out some of Michelle's course requirements for graduation but I have to finish that. I was wondering if anyone has any advice for a good lesson plan book? I am going to make and we are going to stick to lesson plans this year. Michelle has to do some serious maths and sciences and we won't get everything done without a plan. I have been trying to search but haven't come up with anything I like yet.
As for all my doctor's visits, well it seems everything is ok with me, which is good. I haven't been back to the orthopedic guy but I do need to make an appointment with him. I am still under the care of another doctor in Kansas City Missouri but that should have a happy ending too!
I am learning to make mini-quilts right now! WHEW! I had to cut a square the was 1 and 15/16 of an inch! YIKES! The pattern set is called Chocolate, Cherries, and Cream! It has wonderful colors of browns, pinks and creams! It is really pretty, hopefully I will finish it! :-)!
Does anyone one know where a good reputable place on the internet I can download ringtones? I just got a new phone and I want to play a bit HEHE!

I can't believe summer is half over either! I'm going to be like you.. in a mad rush to get everything done.

Sorry I can't be of help about a lesson plan book. I haven't been able to find one either. So far I've been printing out a simple form to keep track, but I would LOVE a real book. Let me know what you find!!

The quilt sounds really pretty.... tedious, but pretty. I can't wait to see it! (Now you have to finish it!)

I also can't be of help with the ring tone. Unfortunately, I think I'm the last person in the civilized world that DOESN'T have a cell phone!

I hope Michelle enjoys her trip to TN. It's the best state ever...I'm only a little partial. =)

Can't wait to see the quilt. It sounds so cute.

And, I have no advice on the ringtone either. I wish I did. I would love to change mine as well, but I am just so not caught up on that stuff. There is even a way to have music play when somebody calls you instead of them hearing ringing. That is pretty neat too.

Pam I am actually starting to get some stuff done, I am always too ambitious in my planning and then I get discouraged. Michelle is LOVING TN Liz! I don't know about that quilt, it is driving me to fits!! I have different tones that came with my phone that ring different when the kids call or Wade calls but I would love to personalize it some more...I will continue searching....

Sis,
Happy belated birthday! I clearly remember the day you were born and how excited I was to have a baby sister. I hope this birthday was a wonderful one for you.

I, too, would love to see that quilt. I googled the block title and can't find a picture anywhere! I am trying to finish up 5 quilts this summer. My local store is having an incentive to get people to complete UFOs (UnFinished Objects).

Love ya,
Donna
