Yes hi did! He was wonderful! He had so many people thank him for his speech! One of his Marines said that it was like a college grad speaking and then everyone else sounded like a 4th grader...Memeorial Day means to me... we both chuckled at that! We met a Senator, Mayor, Congressman that day. They also quoted him in the paper and on the radio! Tell hubby this, he will laugh, there was a guy in the color guard right behind Wade, a Marine, that practically passed out while standing there. The guy next to him was holding him up! It was funny but not funny if you know what I mean. The cool thing was they were behind Wade and Wade saw it! That was weird!
